The CISSP exam is not included in this training course and candidates must book their computer-based testing exam session directly with Pearson Vue. 

• CISSP Exam - If you are planning to go on and take the CISSP exam, this is not included as part of the course.  An exam venue and date can be booked by going to the Pearson Vue website at: http://www.vue.com/isc2/ where you can arrange your exam booking online.

What does this training course cover?

The training session will present and review the information associated with the eight CISSP Domains that constitute the newest version of the (ISC)² Common Body of Knowledge (CBK).

The weighting of each module will also change. The new weights are as follows:

• Domain 1: Security and Risk Management – 15%
• Domain 2: Asset Security – 10%
• Domain 3: Security Architecture and Engineering – 13%
• Domain 4: Communication and Network Security – 14%
• Domain 5: Identity and Access Management (IAM) – 13%
• Domain 6: Security Assessment and Testing – 12%

Are there any prerequisites for this course?

While there are no mandatory requirements to attend this course, please be aware that this is an exam preparation course. All attendees are expected to have a basic understanding of the CISSP job practice knowledge domains.

CISSP exam

Please note that the (ISC)² CISSP exam voucher is not included in the course price and the exam is not taken during this exam preparation training programme. Our training team will advise you on how to book your examination at an official (ISC)² exam centre in the UK. To provide continued support during the crucial exam preparation period, all delegates will have email access to our trainer, who will answer any last-minute questions as required.

The (ISC)² CISSP exam is a six-hour multiple-choice and advance innovative question exam, consisting of 250 questions. Candidates need to achieve a minimum of 70%, or 700 out of 1000 points, to pass

What qualifications will I receive?

You must pass the CISSP exam and have at least five years of cumulative, paid work experience in two or more of the eight domains of the (ISC)² CISSP Common Body of Knowledge (CBK).

If you don’t have enough experience yet, you can still pass the CISSP exam and become an associate of (ISC)² while you gain the required work experience.
