What equipment do I need?

You will need a laptop for the duration of your accelerated course. You will be able to access the digital content on mobiles, laptops or PCs.

Are there any prerequisites for this course?

There are no specific requirements to attend this course.

If you have limited experience in this subject, we recommend working through the digital content first and then attending the accelerated five-day live training. Once you have accessed the digital content, course fees will not be refunded.

There are no prerequisites for taking the exam.

Please note the following for when you have passed the exam:

• To obtain certification from (ISC)2, you must have work experience in one of the domains. We can help you understand how much of your academic background and work experience count towards this and how you can acquire the remaining amount.
• You can become an Associate of (ISC)² while working towards accumulating the experience needed for full certification within six years of passing the exam.

For full certification, the five years of relevant paid work experience must be made up of:

• At least three years in information security; and
• At least one year in one or more of the six domains of the (ISC)² CCSP CBK (Common Body of Knowledge).

There is no pre-reading for the course, but you are expected to be familiar with information security concepts.

You will receive access to digital training content when you order this course and can start your learning right away simply by following the instructions.

CCSP exam

Our training team will advise you on how to book your examination at an official (ISC)² exam centre in the UK. To provide continued support during the crucial exam preparation period, all learners will have email access to our trainer, who will answer any last-minute questions as required.

The (ISC)² CCSP exam is a four-hour multiple-choice and advanced innovative questions exam, consisting of 150 questions. Candidates need to achieve a minimum of 70%, or 700 out of 1,000 points, to pass.
